Yesterday’s card, The Chariot, suggested that you’re in a phase where you’re driving single-mindedly toward a goal. The Four of Swords comes up today to remind you that when you push yourself hard, you must make the time to take a breather and replenish your strength. Some “alone time” would be good too. Constant activity causes stress that can lead to illness and burnout. Perhaps you could develop (or expand, if you already have one) a meditation practice. A daily routine in which you ground and center yourself would work wonders in helping you to clear your mind. You only have to hit the “pause” button for a short time in order to benefit. Then you can charge back into the race. Remember that it’s crucial to maintain a balance between action and rest.
