Building a great cathedral takes time, expertise, painstaking work, and careful planning. The message of this card is that your dreams for your future can be within your reach, but you need to plan well and work hard and diligently. The value of teamwork is also highlighted. One stonecarver is depicted here, but in fact cathedrals can’t be built without a massive crew of workers from many trades and disciplines, all listening to each other and cooperating. Consider how this message might be significant to you in your current work/career situation. Perhaps you’re in the process of connecting with mentors, allies, and colleagues who will support you in your goals. Be open to paying attention to their advice and agreeing to collaborate with them. This is the second Three that has come up this week - Tuesday’s reading, the Three of Wands, also had to do with your work and ambitions for the future. Threes in Tarot suggest a positive, creative, forward-moving energy and something that can be greater than the sum of its parts - for example, in the way that adding one musician to a duo makes it a band. The Three energy is powerful but does require structure and control to harness it. Today’s message reinforces the one in Tuesday’s reading - have a clear plan and take your time.
